The 2020 Rome Ravine is powered up and ready to explore all terrain, whether your just after a resort shred or geared to go deep in the back country. The blended camber with rocker in the nose and camber in the tail means you should have no trouble keeping the tip up and out of the white whilst still laying some big spins. The Ravine is perfect for freestylers favouring a more surfier approach and who want a daily driver that is playful and nimble whilst still packing enough power to be absolutely versatile.
Style: Freestyle/All-Mountain
Level: Advanced
Flex: Mid-Stiff 7/10 (0=soft, 10=stiff)
Camber: Free-the-Ride 3D
Shape: Directional
- Free-the-Ride 3D – Includes 3D rocker in the nose of the board. The 3D adds a round, surfy feel in powder, while the positive camber from the front foot to the tail works with the flat camber forebody to deliver a powerful, responsive feel for turning in all snow conditions. The result is a profile designed for all-mountain freeriding, with added performance in powder conditions.
- Pop Core Matrix – With the balance of response and lightness, this core construction is built primarily of responsive, strong wood, with two zones of a lighter wood species
- 45-90 Hybrid Laminate – This laminate drives an all-mountain freestyle feel by combining the high response of 45 degree fibres with more playful and finesse-orientation of the 90 degree fibres
- HotRods: Bamboo Thruster – Reinforcement rods deliver extra power to the areas of the board where it's needed most. This pattern includes two rods that start at the back binding near the centre of the board and angle towards the edges of the board, creating increased tail-specific power and added response for carving, pow slashing, and freeriding.
- SinterTrue Base – A solid dose of wax absorbing power from this sintered base—high levels of speed for our mid-range freestyle and freeride boards
- Bi-Radial Sidecut
- Taper 6mm-10mm
